New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has lifted COVID-19 restrictions as a result of 70% of New Yorkers, age 18 or older, having started their first dose of their COVID-19 vaccination series. New York’s health guidance and New York Forward industry-specific guidelines (including social gathering limits, capacity restrictions, social distancing, cleaning and disinfection, health screening, and contact tracing information) are now OPTIONAL.

UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS MUST CONTINUE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WEARING MASKS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL CDC GUIDANCE. CONSISTENT WITH THE STATE’S IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RECENT CDC GUIDANCE, FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR UNVACCINATED INDIVIDUALS.
